    A line of severe thunderstorms rolled through this afternoon and they are beginning to make their exit off to the east. Many of these storms produced strong winds and even hail.
    The severe thunderstorm watch has been canceled for central Maryland and as the remainder of the storms continue to press east, the watch will likely be canceled for the Eastern Shore as well.

(AP) — Three people, including a baby, were taken to a hospital following a 12-mile high-speed chase in Oakland.The Cumberland Times-News reports that the pursuit began at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday when deputies tried to stop a car driven by Corey Austin James Bircher, but he sped away and officers chased after him in their patrol cars.     BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Annapolis police captured a man connected to an attempted murder running away from the scene early Saturday.
    At 4:55 a.m. officers responded to the area of Bywater Road for reports of shots fired.
    While officers were checking the area a caller reported a shooting inside a home in the 500 block of Annapolitan Lane. A man was found and investigators learned the victim was shot inside the home by someone he knows

    Baltimore Police Kills Dog After it Attacked 3 Children
    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Baltimore City Police killed one dog and incapacitated another after they reportedly attacked three children.
    At approximately 10:50 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the 2800 block of Edgecombe Circle for a dog bite.
    Officers observed two aggressive and unconfined pit bulls and attempted to secure the dogs in a back yard.
    Both dogs charged at the officers.  The officers shot the dogs, killing one of the dogs, and incapacitating the other.

    First Warning Weather: Severe Thunderstorm Watch
    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Baltimore and the surrounding counties are expecting showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly after 2 p.m., according to WJZ’s Meteorologist Tim Williams.
    Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. A high near 70 and south wind 14 to 17 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph.
    Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Two are dead after being struck by another vehicle early Saturday morning in Crofton, according to Anne Arundel Police.
    Around 2:28 a.m., Reginald Donovan Dunn was traveling northbound on Crain Highway in a Dodge Charger when a Nissan Altima, occupied by Marcus Nicholas Spriggs and Jasmine Lee Mastin, attempted to cross the highway.

    Flames Breakout Overnight at a Brooklyn Park Motel
    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– A fire overnight inside an Anne Arundel County motel sent one victim to the hospital.
    Crews were on scene at Park Plaza Motel in Brooklyn Park. It sparked inside a room before midnight.
    Firefighters said a bed caught fire. The damage was contained to one unit.
    One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
    The cause is under investigation.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Two teens were shot in the bus bay area at the Naylor Road Metro station in Prince George’s County early Saturday morning.
    Around 2 a.m., police say a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl were shot while waiting for a bus in Temple Hills.
    The male victim is in critical condition and the female victim has non-life threatening injuries.
    Police say the suspect is male.
