    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Maryland State Police arrested two women as part of an investigation into a multi-county heroin distribution operation.
    26-year-old Shauquetta Dotson and 28-year-old Latece Greer both face multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute heroin.
    The initial investigation began in St. Mary’s County.
    During the investigation, authorities searched a home occupied by Dotson and Greer, and found a number of items, including drugs and drug paraphernalia.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 40-year-old Maryland man is accused of raping a 14-year-old victim.
    Troy Allen Hoover has been charged with first and second-degree rape, along with sex abuse of a minor. He is currently being held on no bond.
    The investigation into Hoover began Wednesday, after the Washington County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Child Advocacy Center for a reported rape.
    Authorities say the 14-year-old said the rape happened on February 18, at Hoover’s home.

    New Bus Routes Link Baltimore with Kent Island, Annapolis
    ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — The Maryland Transit Administration says two new bus routes will link Baltimore with Kent Island and Annapolis.The agency says in a news release that the routes will begin March 1.
    Commuter Bus 210 will have three morning trips starting on Kent Island with stops in Annapolis. There also will be two morning trips starting in Annapolis with other stops in Anne Arundel County before arriving in Baltimore.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– The Anne Arundel County Police Department is looking for a man who robbed a bank in Annapolis Wednesday.
    At about 2:56 p.m., police say a black man who looked to be in his 40’s or 50’s walked into the Howard Bank located at 116 Defense Highway and demanded money from a teller.
    The teller complied and gave the suspect money. The suspect did not show or say he had a weapon.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Looney’s Pub in Canton was shut down after multiple inspection violations, according to the Baltimore City Health Department.
    The Department said:
    “If an establishment cannot immediately fix the problems on site at the time, it must shut down until the violations are corrected. The City Health Department is working with Looney’s to reopen in ‘a timely manner,” but there is no scheduled date for reopening at this time.”
