    Pop Encyclopedia Creator Irwin Stambler Dies In LA
    LOS ANGELES (AP) — Irwin Stambler, who wrote “The Encyclopedia of Pop, Rock and Soul,” one of the earliest sourcebooks on pop music, has died at 92.
    His son, Lyndon Stambler, said Thursday that he died Feb. 10 in Los Angeles.
    Stambler wrote dozens of books on many topics, from space missions to sports biographies.
    His musical interests prompted him to create encyclopedias on Broadway musicals, folk, country and Western music.
    The pop encyclopedia appeared in 1974.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore County Fire Department has been able to get a fire that damaged a Baltimore County home Friday afternoon under control.
    The fire was reported at a home in the 3800 block of Schroeder Ave.

    PITTSBURGH (AP) — New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis was charged with four first-degree felonies and one misdemeanor after allegedly being involved in a fight with two men last weekend.
    According to a docket sheet filed Thursday night, the 31-year-old Revis is facing two counts of aggravated assault, along with charges of robbery, conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and terroristic threats — a misdemeanor — after the incident Sunday at 2:43 a.m.

    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– Baltimore City fire crews are responding to a 4-alarm fire in the 3600 block of Clipper Road.
    The fire erupted in a vacant warehouse near the JFX.
    Fire officials say the massive 4-alarm fire began sometime around 9 p.m.

    Police Believe Man is Fatally Stabbed by Coworker; Suspect at Large
    BALTIMORE (WJZ)– City police are investigating a fatal stabbing in East Baltimore, believed to be between coworkers.
    On Thursday, at approximately 12:15 pm, officers were called to the 600 block of East Eager Street for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found a man in the block with stab wounds to his body.
    The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene.
