    BAKERSFIELD, CA - An 18-year-old man is recovering after allegedly shooting himself in the hand, according officials.It happened on May 5, around 2:30 p.m. in the 3500 block of Cathedral Rose Drive.According to BPD, they found 18-year-old Sheldon Croney suffering from a gunshot wound to his left hand.An investigation revealed that Croney and and a juvenile friend were at another friend’s residence located in the 4300 block of Rock Lake Dr. when Croney and his friend found a handgun.
