    Barton Springs Pool changes hours, is now closing earlier
    AUSTIN (KXAN) — Beginning June 1, the city of Austin said the Barton Springs Pool would be closing an hour earlier.The new hours have changed to 5 a.m. until 9 p.m. every day except Thursday, which is when the pool is closed for cleaning. The pool was previously open until 10 p.m.KXAN has reached out to the city to inquire about the change. This story will be updated if a reason is given.
