  AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person is dead, and a dog was rescued after a fire was reported at an east Austin apartment complex Monday, according to the Austin Fire Department.AFD said multiple 911 calls came in around 3:45 p.m. about a second story apartment on fire in the 3400 block of Lynridge Drive.
