    JACKSON, N.J. (WPIX) – The king has fallen. The legendary Kingda Ka ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey was imploded on Friday morning.The demolition marked the end of a 19-year run for what was once the world’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster. 
    Kingda Ka was one of several rides that were dismantled as part of a transformation for Six Flags. The Green Lantern coaster, which at one point held world records for height, drop, speed, and length, has also been retired.
