  AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A north Austin apartment caught fire Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in the 11500 block of Metric Boulevard, according to the Austin Fire Department. This is located near the intersection of West Braker Lane and Metric Boulevard.AFD Shift Commander Eddie Martinez said they got a call of heavy smoke and a resident who tried to put out the fire with water.
