    AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person is dead and at least one other person is injured after a crash on Highway 290 westbound Friday morning.
    Austin-Travis County EMS said in a thread on X the crash happened around 6:15 a.m. near 8700-9114 East U.S. 290 and possibly involved multiple vehicles. That area is east of Hwy 183.
