    AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) will temporarily cease its partnership with the Austin Police Department (APD) so that troopers can focus their attention on border cities in the wake of the expiration of Title 42, according to law enforcement sources.

    ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) -- I-35 in Round Rock has reopened after an incident caused the interstate to be shut down for hours Friday evening.
    The interstate was shut down in both directions near Westinghouse Road around 5 p.m. while the Round Rock Police Department investigated an incident in the area.
    I-35 opened back up around 7:30 p.m., according to RRPD.
