  BURNET COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A 45-year-old man from Illinois who is accused of firing at an SUV with a family of three inside during a road rage incident in Burnet County in November has officially been arrested and charged after spending nearly two months receiving medical care for his injuries.

  The 21-year-old driver of a Ford F-550 tow truck was traveling southwest on Farm to Market 1626, about three miles northwest of Buda, when he stopped and made a U-turn at Lakewood Drive around 4:25 p.m.
  The Texas Department of Public Safety said the tow truck driver’s turn was too wide, forcing him to reverse out of Lakewood Drive and onto FM 1626.

  AUSTIN (KXAN) — A lockdown was in place at LBJ Early College High School in east Austin, following a report of a gun on campus Thursday, according to Austin ISD.

  Matt McKay was collecting water samples in Newcomb Bay when an Adelie penguin popped out of the water and onto his boat. The penguin stayed on the boat for a while, checking everything out before jumping back in the water.
