    AUSTIN (KXAN)– Six people are displaced from their home this Thanksgiving after a fire at their north Austin apartment on McNeil Drive east of Research Boulevard.
    Austin Fire Department tweeted about the fire around 1:32 p.m., Thursday. Crews said the fire was caused by a cigarette that was not properly discarded.

    AUSTIN (KXAN) — Thousands of runners burned off their holiday meal Thanksgiving Day, before even sitting down to the table.
    The 27th annual ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot took place Thursday morning, the largest five-mile run in the state.
    The run has raised more than $3.1 million for Caritas of Austin over the years, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the non-profit. Caritas helps people move out of poverty toward self-sufficiency.

    TAYLOR, Texas (KXAN) — An equipment trailer, full of supplies, was stolen from a Habitat for Humanity home build site in Williamson County just before the Thanksgiving holiday.
