    AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Police said a SWAT situation at an apartment complex on West Ben White Boulevard ended Saturday afternoon with a man taken into custody. Police said he will be transported to a hospital for an evaluation.

    AUSTIN (KXAN)– Austin Police say their SWAT team is responding to an apartment complex on W. Ben White Boulevard.
    They say a call came in at 9:10 a.m. about a 66-year-old suicidal man who is threatening to harm others at the Skyline Terrace apartment complex near the Banister Lane intersection just north of Hwy 290.

    (CNN) – McDonald’s is introducing the McVegan burger…In Finland, anyway.
    In a trial run, the chain is offering a meatless, soy patty on a quarter-pounder bun in five restaurants around the city of Tampere.
    The burger includes a vegan McFeast sauce, ketchup, mustard, fresh tomato, lettuce, onion and pickle slices.

    KXAN (AUSTIN) – Austin police are investigating after a man was shot in the face Saturday evening.
    It happened around 7 p.m. on 7304 Duval Street, near US 183 and Interstate 35.  Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said a man in his 20s was taken to the hospital with serious, potentially critical injuries.
    Austin police said they were just getting to the scene to set up a perimeter but are searching for a suspect.

    JONESTOWN, Texas (KXAN) – A woman in her 30s suffered critical, potentially life-threatening injuries in a boating accident on Lake Travis Saturday afternoon, said Austin-Travis County EMS.

    AUSTIN (KXAN) – Police arrested an Austin man after he became angry about a dispute over a parking spot, called 911 and told the dispatcher he was “getting ready to kill someone,” said the Austin Police Department.
