    AUSTIN (KXAN) — Two years of construction on a downtown Austin street is almost over, as one-way Colorado Street is about to become a two-way street.
    Orange and white barricades have become a common theme on the road as crews work to convert the road into a two-way street between 10th Street and Cesar Chavez Street. Drivers may have noticed there are already signal lights installed for future northbound traffic at Colorado Street and Sixth Street.

    TEMPLE, Texas (KWKT) — Temple police report a small child has been killed when a television fell on him.
    Sgt. Michael Bolton says the incident occurred in the 1500 block of South Fifth Street at about 11 p.m. Monday.
    He said the child appears to have been climbing a piece of furniture that had the TV on top of it. According to NBC affiliate KCEN, the boy was three years old.

    ROCKDALE, Texas (KWKT) – Rockdale Police have arrested former Rockdale Public Works Director Zack Reeves on charges of theft by a public servant.
    Reeves was arraigned Tuesday morning, then posted bond and was released. He was fired last week, accused of charging equipment and fuel to the City of Rockdale for use with his personal vehicle.

    LEFLORE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) — At least four people are dead after a military plane crashed in Leflore County, Mississippi.
    WJTV reports the C-130 went down in a field on the Leflore County/Sunflower County line.

    ITTA BENA, Miss. (AP) — A U.S. military plane crashed into a field in rural Mississippi on Monday, killing at least 16 people aboard and spreading debris for miles, officials said.
    Leflore County Emergency Management Agency Director Frank Randle told reporters at a late briefing that 16 bodies had been recovered after the KC-130 spiraled into the ground about 85 miles (135 kilometers) north of Jackson in the Mississippi Delta.

    ITTA BENA, Miss. (AP/KXAN) — A military transport plane crashed Monday in Mississippi’s Delta region, killing 16 people on board, the Jackson NBC affiliate is reporting. 
    Leflore County Sheriff Ricky Banks told The Associated Press that a C-130 military transport crashed about 85 miles north of Jackson.
    Marine Corps spokeswoman Capt. Sarah Burns said in a statement that a Marine C-130 “experienced a mishap” Monday evening.

    Hawaii-based soldier accused of ISIS connection arrested on terror charge
    HONOLULU (AP) — A U.S. official said Monday that an active duty Army soldier has been arrested by the FBI in Hawaii on terrorism charges.
    The official said that the solder was arrested because of connections he had with the Islamic State group.
    He said the soldier was with the 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks in Honolulu.
    No other details were available.
    The official was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.
