    HOUSTON (AP) — Another round of rain is engulfing much of Texas, swelling rivers, flooding streets and bringing warnings of flash flooding in several areas.
    In Austin and Central Texas, rain was forecast to be most numerous through midday Saturday, with some drier time and lower chances of rain Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, the rain timing is expected to flip as a drier morning leads into a wetter afternoon and evening.

    TEMPLE, Texas (AP) — A Central Texas man had his legs amputated and his young daughter suffered severe lacerations when they were struck by a boat.

    (AUSTIN) KXAN — A small plane crashed Saturday morning after skidding off the runway at the Burnet Municipal Airport according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
    The crash happened at 7:31 a.m. As the plane was landing it began skidding to the left off the runway. While the aircraft, a small Cessna Bellanca Viking, remained upright on its belly, it did have a broken wing.

    Two people injured in 3-vehicle crash on SH 29 near Liberty Hill
    WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A three-vehicle crash had parts of State Highway 29 blocked in between Liberty Hill and Bertram, Friday afternoon.
    The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened just before 3 p.m. on SH 29 near Old Highway 29. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
