    MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) — A 9-year-old girl is recovering after being bitten on the head by a kangaroo while visiting Harmony Park Safari in Huntsville, Alabama.
    Jennifer White happened to be recording her 9-year-old daughter Cheyenne’s interaction with the animal when the attack happened Saturday.

    AUSTIN (AP) — The Texas Senate has approved allowing concealed carry permit holders to have guns in their locked cars parked outside schools.
    Sen. Bryan Hughes’ bill was approved Monday 25-6. A similar, bipartisan measure has cleared a committee in the state House but not yet reached a floor vote in that chamber.
