    LAGO VISTA, Texas (KXAN) — Crews are searching for a swimmer in Lake Travis who went under the water and has not resurfaced.
    Austin-Travis County EMS say they were called to the 3400 block of Drapers Cove at 4:13 p.m. for a report of a man in the water.
    A STAR Flight helicopter and Pedernales firefighters are also searching for the man in his 40s. At around 5 p.m. Thursday, ATCEMS said rescuers have switched to recovery mode, due to the amount of time the man has been submerged.

    LAGO VISTA, Texas (KXAN) — The body of the missing Lake Travis swimmer has been found.
    Austin-Travis County EMS say they were called to the 3400 block of Drapers Cove at 4:13 p.m. on Thursday for a report of a man in the water. The swimmer was found by a dive team at 10 a.m. Friday morning.

    Bicyclist killed in northwest Austin crash identified
    AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police have identified a bicyclist who died after he ran into an SUV last week at the corner of US 183 and Riata Trace Parkway.
    Austin police say Paul Pittman, 61, was riding his bicycle westbound on Riata Race Parkway on Jan. 8 when he failed to yield to a driver in a Ford Explorer who was traveling northbound on the frontage road of US 183. The driver was unable to avoid hitting the bicyclist.
    Pittman was taken to the hospital where he died.

    Zoo Miami announces death of Harambe’s grandmother, Josephine
    MIAMI, FL (WCMH) — Zoo Miami announced Wednesday the loss of its matriarch gorilla, Josephine.
    Josephine was born in the wild in March 1967. She arrived at Zoo Miami in 1983 and gave birth to Moja, the first gorilla born in Miami.
    Moja was the father of Harambe, the gorilla that was killed at the Cincinnati Zoo in 2016.
    In 2009, Josephine had cataract surgery and had two artificial human lenses implanted to restore her sight.
