    LOMETA, Texas (KXAN) — A 7-year-old girl was killed Halloween night while trick-or-treating in Lometa, Texas.
    According to KCEN News, police were called at 8:16 p.m. Monday. The girl, identified as Rubi Isabel Davilla, was on a trailer being pulled by a truck. KCEN says Davilla fell off the trailer and was run over.

    AUSTIN (KXAN) — Another Austin police sexual assault case is highlighting what some victim advocates say is too long a delay for DNA results to be completed and end in judicial proceedings in the city.
    Timothy Leslie Bronaugh, 32, was arrested and booked Sunday into the Travis County Jail and charged with sexual assault, a second degree felony.

    PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – A woman arrested in a murder for hire plot offered a would-be assassin cash, a car and more to kill her ex-husband, according to court records.
    In October, the FBI sought a search warrant for a cellphone that may have evidence of the murder for hire plot, according to court documents.
