    LULING, Texas (KXAN) — Two freshmen band students in Luling ISD say they were hazed by senior band members.
    On Saturday, Oct. 15, Luling police received a complaint of a sexual assault on a school bus during an out of town trip earlier in the current football season. Police determined no sexual assault was committed, but the reported incident did reveal a pattern of hazing of freshmen band members during band trips over at least the last four years.

    GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — A mosquito collected last week north of downtown Georgetown has tested positive for West Nile Virus. The city will start spraying insecticide in the area the positive sample was collected.
