    WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — An assisted living facility has been shut down by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services after an investigation revealed the facility was not adequately providing medical services.
    DADS began their investigation at The Lodge at Rocky Hollow in Williamson County on Sept. 20 after a complaint was issued against the facility. These complaints are protected and confidential.

    COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — A coroner says a 6-year-old boy has died days after he was critically wounded in a school shooting in South Carolina.
    Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said Jacob Hall died about 1 p.m. Saturday. Jacob had been fighting for his life at a hospital since the shooting Wednesday at Townville Elementary School. A bullet struck Hall in a main artery in his leg, causing him to lose a lot of blood.

    BEACH HAVEN, N.J. (AP) — Police say a 59-year-old man who wore a bikini fashioned out of see-through plastic wrap on a New Jersey beach is facing a criminal charge.
    They say Stephen Wojciehowski spent two days on a Long Beach Island beach wearing a homemade bikini in which his genitals were clearly exposed and was charged with lewdness.

    Rally, march in memory of man shot by police in California
    EL CAJON, Calif. (AP) — Alfred Olango, the unarmed black man shot and killed by police in a suburb of San Diego, was remembered in a demonstration Saturday organized by clergy members and supporters of Olango’s family.
    About 200 people gathered peacefully at a park in downtown El Cajon to hear speeches by religious leaders ahead of a march through the streets to police headquarters, where Olango’s family members were expected to join them.

    TAYLOR, Texas (KXAN) — Authorities are investigating a plane crash in Taylor Saturday morning.
    The crash happened at around 9:30 a.m. at the 600 block of County Road 403.

    Video of Houston-area school bus crash released
    CROSBY, Texas (KXAN) — A week after a school bus rolled on its side outside of Houston, injuring 17 students and the bus driver, video of the crash has been released.
    The video, posted on KPRC’s website, shows the bus driver motion to the right before the bus careened into the ditch, rolling on its side.
    None of the injures in the Sept. 23 incident were life-threatening. KPRC reports the bus driver swerved to avoid hitting a truck waiting to turn off FM 1942.

    FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Prosecutors in North Texas say they will seek the death penalty against a man accused of drowning his wife by throwing her off a bridge after tying a rope attached to concrete around her neck.
    Court records show the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office filed a notice on Sept. 16 of intent to seek the death penalty against 34-year-Rodolfo Arellano.

    AUSTIN (KXAN) — Starting Saturday, Oct. 1, the city of Austin will implement new fees and fee increases for site and subdivision review and inspections.
