  Colada Shop is set to open its first Arlington location on Monday, and the first 100 visitors will receive a free “Colada Clarendon” tote bag.
  The Sterling-based Cuban cafe is moving into a 2,200-square-foot space next to Tatte and Seamore’s, at 2811 Clarendon Blvd.

  A 42-year-old Arlington woman is in jail after police say she robbed a bank in Clarendon yesterday morning.
  The robbery happened around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the TD Bank at 3028 Wilson Blvd, across from the Clarendon Metro station.

• Neighbors split over approval of more affordable housing at Crystal House complex

  A planned Crystal City apartment complex is set to have even more affordable housing.
  Speakers at an Arlington County Board meeting on Tuesday were divided in their thoughts about the Board’s unanimous vote to approve 88 units of additional affordable housing at 1900 S. Eads Street.

  A new restaurant and bar is expected to replace the closed Rebellion on the Pike in a few weeks.
  Cornerstone, at 2900 Columbia Pike, will offer a family friendly atmosphere around dinnertime and a place to grab a drink later in the night, co-owner Pete Fejeron tells ARLnow.
