    An Arlington high school student who had gone missing over the weekend was reunited with his family — after his stepmom says a tow truck driver spotted him.
    Brandon, a Washington-Liberty High School student, was last seen Friday morning. His mom, who lives in Arlington, notified his dad and stepmother, Phil and Tiffany Pierce, of Stafford, the next day.

    Bad news for those going to the Eden Center this afternoon: you’ll have to contend with a smoldering pile of garbage in the middle of Wilson Blvd.
    Firefighters from Arlington and Fairfax County were dispatched to the intersection of Wilson Blvd and Roosevelt Blvd — near the Eden Center and the border of Falls Church and Arlington — around 1:30 p.m.

    An arrest has been made following a July crash in Lyon Village in which the driver allegedly fled the scene with two small children.
    The crash happened around 10 p.m. on N. Bryan Street, in the aftermath of severe storms.

    Arlington Co. police warn residents about scam calls
    Police in Arlington County, Virginia, are dealing with scammers targeting residents.
    It starts with a phone call from someone who claims to be with law enforcement.
    “They’ll tell the individual that they’ve missed jury duty and, as a result, a warrant will be issued for their arrest unless they pay a fine,” said Ashley Savage, a public information specialist at the county’s police department.
