    A group of Kenmore Middle School students allegedly attacked a student from another school after a basketball game yesterday.
    Police were flagged down around 4:55 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of S. Carlin Springs Road and 2nd Street S. for a report of a fight. They found a student bleeding from the nose, according to scanner traffic, and were told by witnesses that he was assaulted by a group of Kenmore students.

    Arlington County police are seeking more victims of a teen identified as a suspect after a string of groping incidents.
    The incidents happened in and around the Courthouse area this past fall and involved women being grabbed from behind in a sexual manner by an unknown suspect. One involved a woman walking her dog in Courthouse on Nov. 28 and another involved a woman walking or running on the Arlington Blvd Trail on Dec. 7.

    Two new Asian-inspired eateries are coming to Washington Blvd in Clarendon
    Two new Asian restaurants are coming to Clarendon later this year.
    An “authentic” Chinese dim sum restaurant called Tiger Dumpling and a Japanese izakaya-style restaurant called Izakaya 68 are coming to the 3200 block of Washington Blvd in Clarendon, signage in the window suggests.
    Both restaurants are owned by the Ivea Restaurant Group, which runs a number of Asian-inspired restaurants across the region. That includes Ballston’s Gyu San, which is expected to open this year.

    After two days off to start the week, Taylor Elementary students will be participating in virtual learning today due to a major maintenance issue.

    A former leader of an Arlington, Virginia, teacher’s union is accused of embezzling more than $400,000 from the organization she once led.
    For six years, Ingrid Gant, 54, of Woodbridge, headed the Arlington Education Association. It was during that time, according to Fairfax County Police, that Grant is accused of embezzling the money through bonuses to herself and unauthorized purchases on the association’s debit cards.
