    A man climbing near Black Star Canyon Falls on Saturday, Jan. 10, was in critical condition and needed helicopter rescue from the remote area following a fall.
    The victim, whose name wasn’t immediately available, fell while trying to climb in the area at about 2 p.m., said Greg Barta, fire captain and public information officer for the Orange County Fire Authority.
