Four TDs by the defense help Edison crush Huntington Beach
HUNTINGTON BEACH – A chunk of the credit in Edison’s 63-0 victory over Huntington Beach in the Sunset League opener on Thursday should go to the Chargers’ defense.
Edison (4-2, 1-0) scored four touchdowns on defense, all in the second half, and the Chargers used another takeaway to set up a TD by its offense.
The Chargers had only two offensive possessions in the second half.
“I’ve never really been part of something like that,” Chargers coach Jeff Grady said.
