    Update: Beach hazards statement for Orange County Coast until Saturday night
    On Saturday at 1:45 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated beach hazards statement in effect until 11 p.m. for Orange County Coast.
    According to the NWS San Diego CA, “Elevated surf of 3 to 6 feet with local sets to 7 feet, and dangerous rip currents expected.”
    “Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions due to strong rip currents,” the NWS said. “Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.”

    BELLFLOWER – St. John Bosco’s baseball team used a five-run second inning and solid pitching to dominate Santa Margarita in a 6-1 win Friday in a Trinity League game at St. John Bosco High.
