    Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen reports, says contracting coronavirus was why he was late
    Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen on Sunday finally made it to summer camp and then let reporters know that he and his family had the coronavirus, thus his delay in joining his teammates when camp began at Dodger Stadium on July 3.
    Jansen said his son Kaden first contracted the illness about three weeks ago. He said he and his wife and three children have recovered and that he has kept himself in good throwing shape and will be ready for the 60-game season, which kicks off July 23 against the Giants.
