    Tustin police have arrested a man and woman in the death of a man found stabbed in the street on Dec. 9.
    The boyfriend-girlfriend duo, Miguel Orellana of Anaheim and Erika Pineda of Santa Ana, were arrested on Saturday after weeks of investigation led to them, police said.
    At the time police didn’t know why 62-year-old David Nakaki had been attacked but now say the motive was robbery. Authorities would not say what was stolen.

    Most Orange County cities have new mayors serving for the next year.
    Each December, city councils in the majority of the county choose from among their members a person to serve the year as mayor and represent the city, as well as a mayor pro tem.
    Only eight cities have voters who directly choose their mayor:  Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, Irvine, Orange, Santa Ana, Stanton and Westminster.

    BREA — A wrong-way driver may be to blame for a fiery crash involving two big rigs this morning on the northbound 57 Freeway in Brea.
