    Brush fire in Prado Basin affects Corona airport
    A small brush fire briefly affected operations at Corona Municipal Airport before the flames were extinguished Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 12.
    Corona Fire Department Assistant Chief Chris Cox said the flames burned about a quarter-acre. The airport manager ordered a halt to takeoffs and landings while fire engines accessed the fire via the airport runway, Cox said.

    MALIBU — Stanley, a well-loved giraffe who has appeared in commercials and the movie “The Hangover Part III,” drew attention during the fast-moving Woolsey fire last year when some on social media accused his handlers of not evacuating him when the flames reached Saddlerock Ranch, where he is the main attraction on several tours.
