    A deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department was treated for injuries after receiving a cut on the shoulder in a Saturday morning altercation with an inmate at Theo Lacy Jail.
    Carries Braun, spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Department, said two deputies and a sergeant attempted to address an inmate who did not want to leave his cell to attend a disciplinary hearing on Saturday.
    When the deputies entered the cell, the inmate attacked and attempted to stab one of them, Braun said.
