    The 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade will feature a wonderful lineup of floats, marching bands, equestrian units and other entries, coming toPasadena from around the world. This year’s procession will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, with “The Melody of Life” as the theme.

    Workers at six Los Angeles-area hotels have reached a tentative labor agreement with their employers.
    The agreement covers the J.W. Marriott/Ritz-Carlton L.A. Live, Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles L.A. Live, SLS Beverly Hills, W Hollywood, W Westwood, and the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles.
