    Officials Tuesday identified two people who were killed in separate crashes less than two miles from each other on the 15 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga early Sunday morning.

    Irvine-based homebuilder TRI Pointe Group has expanded again, paying $60 million in cash to purchase Dallas-based Dunhill Homes, the company announced Tuesday, Dec. 11.
    The company, which has gone from startup a mere nine years ago to a top-15 builder, is gaining a foothold in yet another major U.S. metro area while expanding its presence in Texas. TRI Pointe-owned Trendmaker Homes already builds homes in Houston and Austin.
