    Firefighters continued their battle on Tuesday, Aug. 28 with a 108-acre spot fire near the Holy fire burn area that flared up one day earlier after jumping the containment line.
    The blaze, in the Cleveland National Forest, was about 10 percent contained and had spread on Monday to near the communication towers on Santiago Peak.

    Cal State Fullerton swept UMass Lowell 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-16) in the nightcap of the Fullerton Classic, Friday evening in Titan Gym.
    The Titans did it again Saturday morning, this time sweeping Montana 3-0 (25-23, 25-23, 25-18) to improve to a 2-1 on the young season.
