    The Dodgers outfielder – Toles, not Einstein – was promoted from Triple-A on Monday, joining the Dodgers in San Diego as Yasiel Puig went on the DL with a Grade 1 oblique strain in his right side. Puig suffered the injury in Sunday’s game against the Angels and is expected to miss “a few weeks,” according to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts.

An hour later, Muncy had been told he broke protocol and declined to answer questions about the Derby when talking to reporters.

    HOLLYWOOD — Tab Hunter, the 1950s heartthrob who portrayed Joe Hardy in the “Damn Yankees!” movie, has died. He was 86.
    Hunter died Sunday night in Santa Barbara from a blood clot that caused a heart attack, Allan Glaser, his romantic partner of more than three decades, told the Hollywood Reporter, describing his death as “unexpected and sudden.”

    Matt McLain, an All-Orange County first-team shortstop who just finished his senior year at Beckman High in Irvine, was drafted in the first round by the Arizona Diamondbacks last month. The Diamondbacks offered McLain, the 25th pick overall, a signing bonus of $2,636,400.
