    After looking outside campus for a new dean of Mihaylo College of Business and Economics, the university has chosen Morteza Rahmatian, who has been serving as interim dean since July 2016. Rahmatian, a 30-year CSUF veteran, will serve a two-year term beginning July 1.

    Beckman rolls into Division 2 championship game with 17th straight win
    All season long, Beckman’s baseball team has been pointing toward a shot at a CIF-SS Division 2 championship.
    The top-seeded Patriots will get that chance Saturday when they face Yucaipa in the Division 2 final at Cal State Fullerton or UC Riverside.
    Beckman (26-3-1) advanced to the finals with an 8-1 semifinal playoff victory over Camarillo on Tuesday afternoon in Camarillo, the 17th consecutive win for the Patriots.
