    A pedestrian was killed Saturday night, May 5 after he stepped into an intersection near the Huntington Beach Pier and was hit by a black Nissan Altima, police said.
    The accident happened at about 7:12 p.m at Pacific Coast Highway and Main Street.
    Paramedics were summoned and the pedestrian was transported to UCI Medical Center, where he died.
