Cody Bellinger clears the air with Dave Roberts, returns to Dodgers’ lineup
PHOENIX — One day after he benched first baseman Cody Bellinger for not hustling out an extra-base hit, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said he has “moved past” the incident.
Bellinger said after the Dodgers’ 4-2 loss to the Giants that he respected Roberts’ decision. He also defended his choice to hold up at second base rather than try for a triple on a fly ball to the right-center field gap, known as “Triples Alley” at AT&T Park.

Who gets credit for the thaw in Korea?
In this era of hyperpartisanship, it’s hard to agree on much. But one thing that seems clear to everyone involved is that the events that transpired last week on the Korean peninsula were remarkable. North Korea’s Kim Jong-un met South Korea President Moon Jae-in at the DMZ.
Then, leaders of the two nations, still technically at war, exchanged pleasantries as Kim crossed onto South Korean-controlled soil. He is the first North Korea leader to ever visit the south.
