    ORANGE — A motorist slammed a car into a fire hydrant and knocked down power lines alongside an Orange street Wednesday morning, leaving the roadway flooded.

    A man dressed in a red sweatshirt robbed a La Habra gas station of cash on Wednesday morning.
    Police didn’t say how much money was taken during the robbery.
    La Habra police Sgt. Jose Rocha said a man entered the USA Gasoline at 101 E. Whittier Blvd. and robbed the business shortly after 7 a.m. He said no weapon was seen.

    SANTA ANA – A 21-year-old Azusa man who was acquitted of murder last year is now facing a new murder charge for allegedly stabbing a man with a pocket knife in Costa Mesa this month.

    SANTA ANA — A transient was charged with a hate crime Tuesday for allegedly attacking a man selling flowers alongside an Anaheim street while calling the victim a “wetback.”
