    TEMPE, Ariz. — A day after the Angels traded C.J. Cron, they added some depth to the organization by signing Chris Carter to a minor-league deal.

    GANGNEUNG, South Korea — The Russian delegation at the Pyeongchang Olympics has announced that one of its athletes has failed a drug test.
    Two Russian state news agencies cited Konstantin Vybornov, spokesman for the “Olympic Athletes from Russia” team, as saying the delegation received an official notification from the International Olympic Committee of the positive test.

    A pedestrian was struck and killed early Sunday morning, Feb. 18 in Huntington Beach, police said.

    WESTMINSTER – Santa Ana was the highest finishing county team at the CIF-SS Coastal Division wrestling championships Saturday at Westminster High.

    No, it isn’t the Westminster Kennel Club dog show. It may look a little like it, but this isn’t the dog show you’re likely used to seeing.
    This is the “2018 American Rescue Dog Show,” and while it may in some respects resemble that annual event attended by a who’s who of dogdom, it’s different — in a very important way.
    Like Westminster, this show features dogs competing in various categories, whose participants are winnowed down until one remains:
