    Man sentenced to more than 23 years for stabbing woman in Anaheim motel
    SANTA ANA >> A 26-year-old man was sentenced to more than 23 years in prison Monday, Jan. 22, for stabbing a woman in the neck during a 2014 encounter in an Anaheim motel room, according to prosecutors.
    Emmanuel Lara of Buena Park pleaded guilty in December to attempted murder, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and dissuading a witness by force, according to a statement from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

    CARSON — Ola Kamara didn’t waste any time in Major League Soccer terrorizing opposing defenses.
