    LOS ANGELES — Toa Lobendahn will return to USC for his final season of eligibility, giving a boost in experience to the Trojans’ offensive line.
    The school announced his decision Wednesday.
    Lobendahn, a redshirt junior, started 13 of 14 games this past season at left tackle, but is expected to move to center, a position vacated by Nico Falah, whose eligibility expired.
    Over four seasons, Lobendahn has made 34 career starts, the most among the team’s returning offensive linemen.

    SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A federal judge on Tuesday night temporarily blocked the Trump administration’s decision to end a program protecting young immigrants from deportation.

    RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA — A man was killed and a woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday, Jan. 9, according to the California Highway Patrol.
    The crash was reported at 4:18 p.m near Oso and Antonio parkways, CHP dispatchers said.
    The man who died was 21 and was driving a Ford Mustang that collided with a pickup truck operated by a woman in her mid 30s who is from Trabuco Canyon, said Orange County Fire Authority Capt. Steve Concialdi.
