    A Sigalert until further notice was declared at 1:55 p.m. for the westbound lanes of Ortega Highway near Hot Springs Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol website.
    A 911 call came in around 1:16 p.m. from someone involved in a collision, the CHP log stated. The crash involved two vehicles, one of which was a Ford Expedition. The coroner was called around 1:58 p.m., but little other information was available.
    Ortega’s eastbound lanes remained open.

    Dispatchers said the closure followed a vehicle pursuit that ended with a crash.
