    Coroner’s officials have identified a 59-year-old man found dead after an apparent horrific chainsaw accident at his Pasadena home last week, but the exact circumstances and official cause of death remain under investigation, officials said.
    Robert Edwin Milliken was pronounced dead shortly before 10 a.m. Dec. 4 outside his home in the 2900 block of New York Drive, on the border between Pasadena and Altadena, according to officials with the Los Angeles County coroner and Pasadena

    At midday, the Thomas fire had burned 173,000 acres, and had split onto two forks in an uncontrolled move west into the Santa Barbara foothills, and northwest towards Lake Cachuma.
