    SANTA ANA – Police were investigating a shooting Thursday afternoon, Nov. 30 that left at least one man wounded.
    No suspects had been taken into custody and there was no description of the culprit in the 1 p.m. shooting near Fairview Street and Edinger Avenue by Centennial Regional Park, Santa Ana Sgt. Michael Gonzalez said.
    What led to the shooting was unclear. Gonzalez said the wounded man was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

    Cal State Fullerton women’s volleyball took a step back this season, at least in its record.
    The team went 5-24 this season, posting one less win than it did in 2016.
    However, for Cal State Fullerton women’s volleyball head coach Ashley Preston, it is all about taking baby steps.
