    Baker scores 26 in senior-season debut
    Dawson Baker scored 26 points for Capistrano Valley as the Cougars beat Long Beach Wilson 72-53 in the the Grizzly Invitational at Godinez High.
    It was the season opener for Capistrano Valley, No. 3 in the OC Varsity top 10.
    Dawson, a 6-foot-4 guard, was Sea View League player of the year last season. Capistrano Valley plays Fullerton on Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. in another pool-play game at Godinez.
