    Man dragged by truck because of robbery or love triangle? Jury acquits defendant
    SANTA ANA – An Anaheim man was acquitted Tuesday of killing a man who was dragged by a truck during what prosecutors had said was a robbery.
    A Santa Ana jury found Jasper Bear Belknap, 21, not guilty of special-circumstances murder, as well as a lesser charge of involuntary manslaughter.
    The jurors also determined that the death of 45-year-old Felipe Lugo did not occur during a robbery.
    “I just think the prosecution over-reached,” said Robison Harley, Belknap’s attorney.
