    The National Weather Service is predicting “critical fire weather conditions” for the San Bernardino Mountains Saturday through Sunday morning.

    DENVER — There are things that one can come to expect from the Ducks’ Andrew Cogliano.
    It is a given that Cogliano will be in the lineup. He was in Edmonton’s season opener after coming out of the University of Michigan in 2007 and has never been out of a game, having cemented himself in Anaheim. The NHL’s longest active consecutive streak is now at 791 games, a total that’s fourth all-time.

    MEAD VALLEY — A 76-year-old Mead Valley woman is missing, authorities said Friday night.
    Sharon Pickett was last seen Thursday at 10 P.M. in La Habra, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.
    Pickett is 5’2″  and weighs about 80 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes.
    She is believed to be driving a 2010 Gold Honda Accord with license plate number 6NMU810.
    Pickett suffers from a medical condition and may become disoriented.
