    PLAYA VISTA — Patrick Beverley and Austin Rivers filled the Clippers’ starting guard spots for their exhibition opener Sunday in Honolulu. Milos Teodosic and Lou Williams played reserve roles during the Clippers’ 121-113 loss to the Toronto Raptors.

    A 21-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in what police believe is a gang-related attack in Anaheim.
    Police were called to a fight in the 1300 block of Sunshine Way, said Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt. Officers found the man injured and took him to the hospital. His injuries were reportedly not life-threatening.

    ORANGE — A woman was injured Thursday night in a crash in Orange involving two vehicles and one of the drivers fled the scene, police said.
    The crash was reported at 7:27 p.m. at the intersection of Katella Avenue and California Street, according to Orange police Lt. Jennifer Amat.
    The woman was taken to a hospital. Her age and condition were not immediately available.
    It was not immediately clear if anyone else was injured.

    ANAHEIM — A suspected car thief led police on a brief chase Thursday, Oct. 5, on the 5 freeway that culminated with a crash and an officer-involved shooting in Anaheim, authorities said.
