    ANAHEIM – A shooting early Saturday morning at a motel near Disneyland left one person in critical condition.

  • Small quake shakes Cherry Valley area in Southern California

    BANNING — A magnitude-3.2 earthquake struck 4.4 miles northwest of Banning in the Cherry Valley area of Riverside County at 9:39 p.m. Friday, but no damage or injuries were immediately reported.
    The earthquake’s depth was five kilometers (3.1) miles, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
    Police in Banning said they felt the quake at headquarters, but had received no reports of injuries or damage.
    The area is north of Interstate 10, between Beaumont and Banning.
