    LAGUNA HILLS – Many athletes and coaches set the Laguna Hills Invitational as the start of the Orange County cross country season.
    The meet features a course with varied terrain and unique challenges, giving runners a chance to be tested after a summer of training and helping them set a benchmark for the rest of the season.
    County teams picked up 18 team wins and 11 individual wins over four grade levels and three divisions in Saturday’s meet at Laguna Hills High.
